Easter Tradition

Easter is a Christian religious event and the most important holiday of Christianity. At Easter, Christians celebrate Jesus Christ’s Resurrection, after his death by crucifixion, which occurred in this time of the year in 30 or 33 a.C. The egg is an old symbol, previous of Christianity, that represents the fertility and the reborn of life. Easter’s eggs are a millenary tradition connected to the Christianity. We used to paint a hollow chicken egg with very bright colors because Easter is a festive date that commemorate Jesus Christ’s Resurrection, the egg is a symbol of birth. The Easter Bunny tradition was brought to America by German immigrants. The fact is that the rabbits are remarkable by their reproduction capacity, and Easter marks the resurrection for a new life. With the course of the time, it was inserted at Easter’s commemorations, the chocolate egg, with the same symbology of reborn, but that makes the big joy of the little ones.
